Terms of service

This site is owned and operated by Lionheart England, c/o Manuscript Pen Company Ltd (company number 02414044), whose registered office is at Manuscript House, Netherton Lane, Highley, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV16 6BF ("Lionheart England", "we", "us").

The following terms and conditions, together with any related rules we adopt and publish (together the "Conditions of Sale"), apply to all sales of Lionheart England products (the "Products") that you (the "Customer" or "you") order through this website. Sales made through authorised stockists are not subject to these Conditions of Sale.

We may modify these Conditions of Sale from time to time. When you place an order, you confirm your acceptance of the Conditions of Sale in force at that time. Your use of the site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.

Purchase eligibility

To order through this website you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order for you.

By placing an order you confirm that you are buying as an end-user consumer and not for resale or other commercial distribution. We may refuse any order we reasonably believe to be in breach of this. For trade and wholesale, please contact manuscript@manuscriptpen.com.

Ordering

You place an order by completing our online checkout. You will have the opportunity to check your order and correct any errors before submitting it. We will send an order acknowledgement by email; this confirms we have received your order but does not mean we have accepted it.

Our acceptance of your order takes place when we dispatch it, at which point the contract between us is formed. We may decline an order where goods are unavailable, where payment cannot be authorised, where we believe you do not meet the eligibility criteria above, or where there has been a pricing or description error.

Only Products showing an "Add to basket" button are available for sale through this website. We may change the range of Products offered at any time.

Accounts and personal information

You may check out as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

Pricing

Prices shown on this website include VAT at the current rate where applicable, and exclude delivery, which is calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices and specifications.

We take care to ensure descriptions and prices are accurate, but errors can occur. If we find an error in the price or description of goods you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to reconfirm the order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we cannot reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund you in full.

Product images and specification

Product images are for illustration. Colours may vary slightly between screens and batches. Where an element of a set is unavailable, we will contact you before substituting anything.

Age guidance and safety

Our Products carry age guidance on their packaging and, where relevant, on the product page. Please read and follow it, keep any packaging that carries safety information, and supervise young children during craft activities. Age guidance is provided for safety reasons and is not a measure of ability.

Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which are processed by our payment providers over a secure connection. We do not store your full card details.

Delivery

We dispatch to the address given at checkout. Delivery options, costs and estimated timescales are set out in our Delivery policy and confirmed at checkout. We currently ship to the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and selected other countries; available destinations are shown at checkout.

We aim to meet the timescales published, but they are estimates and delays outside our control can occur. Where an order is delayed we will let you know. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Please check the contents of your parcel against your order on arrival, and tell us promptly if anything is missing or damaged.

Promotional offers

Only one promotional offer or discount code may be used per order unless we state otherwise. Discount codes are issued subject to their own terms, cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, and may be withdrawn at any time. Gift cards and clearance items are excluded.

Cancellations and returns

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, and you then have a further 14 days to return them. You must take reasonable care of the goods, and return them complete and in their original condition with any instructions and packaging. Where you cancel under these Regulations we will refund the price of the goods and the standard outbound delivery charge; return postage is at your cost unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.

Separately, our voluntary returns policy allows you to return most unused items within 28 days. Full details, including our returns address, are in our Returns policy.

Faulty goods

If a Product is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, please contact us at manuscript@manuscriptpen.com. Nothing in these Conditions of Sale affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Agreement

These Conditions of Sale, together with the policies referred to in them, form the agreement between you and Lionheart England in relation to Products bought through this website.

Severability

If any provision of these Conditions of Sale is found to be void or unenforceable, that provision applies only to the extent it is valid and the remaining provisions continue in force.

Governing law

These Conditions of Sale are governed by English law, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
