Encouraging Creativity
The Lionheart Tales is all about letting your imagination run wild, and there is no better way to do that for children than by encouraging creativity in them from a young age. Creativity can come in many forms, whether it’s colouring, painting, reading or writing!
Mr Jasper is always teaching the children new ways of being creative at Lionheart School, one of his most favourite techniques was a ‘Show and Tell’. Benji was nervous to do his Show and Tell, but he found his courage and did a great presentation at the end of the school day!

Reading & Writing
Reading to and with your child from a young age can help encourage creative development. If your child is like Bella the rhino and loves to read, it’s important to stimulate this interest. Reading with your child offers multiple developmental benefits including listening skills, language development and social and emotional development.
The Lionheart Tales Story books – retell the stories of The Lionheart Tales with our collection of Story Books. These books include a ‘Parent and Child Zone’ at the end for parents to revisit the key messages from the story with children and builds the perfect bedtime routine for kids.
Fine Motor Skills
Developing fine motor skills from an early age are especially important for when children start school. Colouring, drawing, writing, cutting with scissors and gluing and pasting are examples of some of these key skills.
Mr Jasper and Miss Jessie teach these key skills at Lionheart School and they have been the key development areas we considered when developing our Lionheart product range!
